Thanks for visiting and reading the EllayPhameLi website. The content on these pages represents a hard-copy edition that is produced and distributed by destitute but capable volunteers seeking to help themselves against the tragedy in their lives, by helping others against the tragedy in theirs. The money raised is applied to sustain and develop personal viability where it is in question, and social responsibility where it is lacking, as part of our mission to end tragedy in the human condition.
Our intent is to bring an end to tragedy in our own lives, ourselves, and to catalyze and inspire personal and social solutions to tragedy's causes and effects, the world over, in others. EllayPhameLi lays out the groundwork and parameters for discussion and activity toward this goal. It is comprised as an Art Project, to be produced in 1,000 copies of 36 separate issues addressing developing concerns, and distributed consecutively to the people of Los Angeles in a cultural outreach.
The following 35 issues of EllayPhameLi will be coming. Subscribe with a donation by check or money order of $108.00 made out to Tragedy's End and mail to Tragedy's End, 3010 Wilshire Blvd. #299 Los Angeles, CA 90010. Be sure to include the name and the address of the person you'd like to receive the mailings. A subscription will get you the entire set regardless of when you subscribe, as soon as the printed issues become available. Thanks. Julian Steptoe
TRAGEDY’S END: TAX STATEMENT
Though Tragedy’s End is a non-profit public benefit charity, tax-exempt status is pending application and qualification, and has NOT been granted.
Donations are currently NOT TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.
I, Julian Steptoe, am “Doing Business As” “Tragedy’s End”, under a fictitious name issued on registration in Los Angeles County, California, to incorporate and title the efforts of my cause and mission, which is the aura and wake of my birth and life.
The median expected budget is to raise $108,000.00, some $40,000 of which will be applied to the costs of producing and distributing each issue. The remaining $68,000 will be put to immediate and long term solutions to hunger and homelessness, and to the institution and further production of Tragedy's End concepts through art and civic measures, and the securement of production and management facilities.
You can get involved! If you need help, or if you have help to give, our mission is to help and show you how to both give and receive help toward eliminating tragedy in your life and in the lives of those around you. Email endtragedies@yahoo.com, for your personal arrangements, inputs, comments and questions. Thank You! Julian Steptoe
